Sheridan Township Policy for Viewing Assessing Records

Whereas the offices of Sheridan Township, Clare County, are part time and in their homes, assessing records can be viewed and inspected by chance or by appointment, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

    Garbage Service

    Township garbage services are managed by GFL. Garbage is picked up every Thursday and large items can be set out for pickup on the third Thursday of every month.

    It is recommended that garbage containers be placed out at roadside prior to 6:00 a.m.

    Road Construction

    Issues with the township roads should be called in to the Clare County Road Commission at (989) 539-2151, or submitted online at: http://clarecrc.com/service-requests/

    Recycling

    Township recycling is available on the third Saturday of every month at the Sheridan Township Hall. Help is available between 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.

    The recycling service accepts cardboard, newspapers, tin cans and type 2 plastics.

    Hall Rental

    Sheridan Township Hall is available to rent for your special event/occasion. For additional information, please contact our Township Clerk at (989) 312-3111.

    Cemeteries

    There are two retired cemeteries located within Sheridan township.

    Located between Dover and Adams Roads on Cornwell Avenue on the east side of the road.
